Spring Herb Infused Vinegars

Learn the ins and outs of infusing herbs in vinegar and make your own infused vinegar with spring botanicals! Herbal infused vinegars can be an excellent way to harvest the healing properties from herbs and are a tasty addition to meals, mock tails and more!

Part 1

Participants will learn about the process of infusing vinegars, which vinegars to use when, which herbs can be used and some potential health benefits and culinary uses.

Part 2

Sierra will lead the class around the farm pointing out various botanicals and participants will have the opportunity to harvest their own herbs for their infused vinegars.

Part 3

Each person will infuse their own vinegar which can be taken home with instructions on straining, storage and later use.

All materials will be provided for the class but you may want to bring along a notebook and writing utensil to take notes. Water and tea will be available on site.

Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for being on a farm outdoors in the weather. In the case of rain we will adapt the class to take place in the barn. In case of storm the class will be cancelled or rescheduled.
